Supplier Manager

Obtains value for the IT organization for products and services provided by suppliers. Qualifies suppliers. Ensures the currency of information is in the Supplier Portfolio. Maintains information about suppliers in the Supplier Portfolio. Reviews and evaluates the performance of suppliers. Responsible for consolidating requirements for external services and supplies, Responsible for scanning the market for providers, negotiating with a chosen supplier. Responsible for the contracting and monitoring of external services and service providers. Requirements Bachelor degree in Computer engineering or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in the same field. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proven work experience with the below: Improve inventory visibility. Manage supply and demand as a flow. Adopt a fast, flexible pipeline planning system. Use real-time analytics to measure volatility of demand. Improve forecasting models. Diversify suppliers. Create new distribution networks & channels
