Newburyport, MA (USA) Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a full time AP/CP Board certified or board eligible Pathologist to join a two-person practice providing full coverage to Anna Jaques, a small community hospital in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Newburyport is a historic coastal town 35 miles northeast of Boston and known for its picturesque waterfront, beautiful 4 seasons and numerous recreational opportunities.

Experienced pathologists and those new in practice are encouraged to apply. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide microscopic dictations and report sign-outs in a timely manner.

  • Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and referring physicians regarding specimen handling and diagnostic issues.

  • Participate in internal quality assurance activities and maintain compliance with laboratory policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • AP/CP Board Certified (or Board Eligible)

  • Minimum of 1–4 years of experience in surgical pathology, including fellowship training (if applicable).

  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of practice.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to diagnostic detail.
