1. Program Execution & Lifecycle Management
- Lead and drive end-to-end execution of next-generation XR (AR Glasses / VR Headsets) hardware and software development programs.
- Define, manage, and track program milestones, schedules, and critical paths across EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production phases.
- Identify technical risks, clear blockers, and proactively implement mitigation plans to ensure on-time and high-quality product delivery.
2. Cross-Functional Engineering Collaboration
- Act as the central technical bridge between cross-functional teams, including Optics, Sensory/Tracking, Software/Firmware, QA, and Product Management.
- Translate product requirement documents (PRD) into clear technical specifications and actionable engineering milestones.
- Coordinate with external vendors, ODM/OEM partners, and global supply chain teams on technical alignment and issue resolution.
3. Bug Triaging & Process Optimization
- Run cross-functional bug triaging meetings to prioritize technical issues, allocate engineering resources, and drive root-cause analysis (RCA).
- Establish and continuously optimize engineering processes, documentation standards, and development workflows to boost team efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a TPM, Engineering Project Manager, or Lead Engineer in consumer electronics, wearables, or smart devices (Direct experience with XR/AR/VR space is highly preferred).
- Technical Background: Strong understanding of hardware-software integration, wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth), display/optics, or sensory tracking technologies.
- Methodology: Proven track record of managing complex technical programs using Agile/Scrum or traditional hardware development lifecycles (PLM/NPI).
- Tools: Proficiency in project management and bug tracking enterprise tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking software).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.
- Mindset: Proactive, organized, resilient under pressure, and highly adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic hardware development environment.
