About this role

Marcus & Millichap is building out its Leasing business across the US, and we are hiring an experienced recruiter to drive sourcing and pipeline development as we go to market for top leasing talent. Reporting to and partnering with the Senior Director, National Sales Recruiter, this person will own the day to day recruiting for Leasing, including talent mapping, outreach, pipeline management, and recruiting operations, while working with the Senior Director on overall strategy and market priorities.

The ideal candidate comes from a national commercial real estate brokerage and is comfortable representing the firm credibly to experienced producers. This is a hands-on role for an organized, self-motivated recruiter who can manage a full pipeline and keep a growing search effort moving.


The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $115,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus. The exact bonus is not guaranteed and will vary based on individual performance, team results, and company performance. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer and posted salary ranges are provided in good faith for compliance with all relevant pay-transparency regulations. Responsibilities

  • Build target lists and talent maps across key US leasing markets, identifying top producers, teams, and prospective lift-outs through research and industry knowledge.
  • Initiate outreach to experienced producers and teams to introduce the firm and the opportunity, including potential team lift-outs and acquisitions.
  • Drive proactive, multi-channel outreach through calls, email, and LinkedIn, representing Marcus & Millichap credibly to build interest and cultivate a candidate pool.
  • Build and manage candidate pipelines across priority markets, maintaining consistent communication with prospects throughout the process.
  • Own screening, interview management, and the offer process in partnership with hiring managers and senior leadership.
  • Partner with hiring managers throughout the search to understand hiring needs, calibrate on profiles, and advance candidates.
  • Own recruiting operations, including coordination, scheduling, reporting, and ATS and CRM management, keeping the pipeline clean and stakeholders informed.
  • Partner with the Senior Director, National Sales Recruiter on recruiting strategy, market priorities, and the processes and infrastructure that will support the Leasing function as it grows.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions across commercial real estate and leasing.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience at a national commercial real estate brokerage, recruiting agents in leasing or investment sales, with the ability to speak credibly to candidates about the industry and the opportunity. Leasing recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and screening passive candidates using various channels and techniques such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms.
  • Proven ability to build networks and cultivate relationships with passive candidates through targeted outreach.
  • Experience building or contributing to recruiting pipelines and processes, and comfort working in a growing, evolving environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency with a commitment to quality and follow through.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong systems orientation, including experience with ATS, CRM, and reporting tools.

 

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
