The Talent Sourcing Associate will support Texas Capital’s proactive talent acquisition strategy by identifying, researching and engaging prospective candidates across priority talent markets. Working closely with the Senior Talent Sourcer and Talent Acquisition team, this individual will conduct talent research, develop candidate pipelines, support targeted sourcing campaigns and coordinate activities associated with critical and executive searches.

This role is an opportunity for an early-career professional to develop expertise in talent sourcing, market research and recruiting while gaining exposure to businesses and leaders across Texas Capital.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective candidates aligned to defined position requirements and talent profiles.
  • Build target-company lists and candidate pipelines across priority talent markets.
  • Utilize HireEZ and other sourcing tools to identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Support targeted candidate outreach campaigns and track candidate engagement.
  • Conduct market research on competitor organizations, relevant talent pools and geographic markets.
  • Maintain organized and accurate talent maps and candidate pipelines.
  • Partner with recruiters and the Senior Talent Sourcer to support sourcing strategies for priority searches.
  • Support executive and critical searches through candidate research, pipeline tracking, interview coordination and related recruiting activities.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within Talent Acquisition systems.
  • Assist with talent-market reporting and sourcing analytics.
  • Support recruitment-marketing and employment-brand initiatives, including candidate campaigns, talent-community development and related projects.
  • Provide coordination and project support for strategic Talent Acquisition initiatives as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders while delivering a high-quality candidate experience.

Qualifications / Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, research, HR, professional services or a related field preferred; relevant internship experience considered.
  • Strong research skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing recruiting technology, including applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Interest in financial services and developing expertise in talent acquisition.
