About this role
A unique advisory firm based in Malta is seeking a German-speaking Tax Advisor to provide sound tax guidance to their German-speaking clientele. In this role, you will work closely with the Managing Director and Co-Founder, supporting clients based in both Germany and Malta.
This is a hybrid role that offers a salary of up to €38K.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Work with a diverse client portfolio based in Malta and Germany
- Produce accurate, timely, and compliant tax work in line with Maltese and German regulations
- Provide sound tax advice to the existing client portfolio
- Assist clients with tax planning, structuring, and compliance matters
- Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and related documentation
- Liaise with tax authorities and other relevant institutions on behalf of clients
- Support internal process improvements to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure alignment between tax and financial reporting
Skills & Experience:
- Part-qualified in ACCA or holding a university degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
- Fluent in German (non-negotiable) and English (written and spoken)
- Prior experience in a tax advisory or accounting environment
- Strong understanding of tax principles, compliance, and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in client-facing settings
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and approachable manner
