Job Description

Job Role: SAP Security Consultant

 

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Security Consultant with 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security and Compliance. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Security, Fiori Security, SAP GRC Access Control, and IT SOX Audit support. The role requires managing SAP security operations, role design, user access governance, compliance controls, and audit support activities across enterprise SAP landscapes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and support SAP security roles and authorizations across SAP environments.
  • Manage user administration activities, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, and role assignments.
  • Support implementation, enhancement, and troubleshooting of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori Security.
  • Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, risk assessment, and access risk remediation using SAP GRC Access Control.
  • Assist with IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOX compliance audits by preparing audit evidence, documentation, and control testing support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to resolve authorization and security-related issues.
  • Support security governance, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational security standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in security reviews, access certification activities, and periodic user access audits.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with:

    • SAP S/4HANA Security
    • SAP Fiori Security
    • SAP GRC Access Control
    • IT SOX / ITGC Audit Support

 

Strong expertise in:

    • SAP Role Design and Authorization Concepts
    • User Access Management
    • Segregation of Duties (SoD) Analysis
    • Compliance and Risk Controls
  • Good understanding of SAP security best practices and governance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Security and/or SAP GRC Certification.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise SAP environments.
  • Exposure to complex SAP landscapes and transformation projects, including S/4HANA implementations and migrations.
