Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive On-Site Service Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical servicing, the ability to diagnose technical issues, and a commitment to providing excellent customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment as per company standards.
- Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
- Work closely with the engineering and service teams to report and resolve technical problems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Maintain service records and prepare detailed reports after each service visit.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
- Travel to various customer sites as required for servicing and repairs.
- Ensure proper handling of tools, spare parts, and service equipment.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical components, and troubleshooting methods.
- Hands-on experience in using diagnostic tools and repair instruments.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as per job requirements.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in servicing industrial machinery, solar equipment, or robotics will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of PLC, sensors, and automation systems is a plus.
