About this role

Job Overview:

Job Summary:

The Technician I QHSE supports the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental programs by performing routine tasks, inspections, and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role assists in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and upholding quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Conduct routine safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and processes.
* Assist in the identification and assessment of potential hazards and risks.
* Collect and maintain QHSE-related documentation, including inspection reports, training records, and incident reports.
* Participate in incident investigations and assist in implementing corrective actions.
* Support the delivery of QHSE training programs to employees.
* Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
* Assist in maintaining quality control records and performing basic quality checks.
* Operate and maintain safety equipment and monitoring devices as required.
* Communicate QHSE information and updates to team members.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the QHSE Manager or Supervisor.

Job Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., Occupational Safety, Environmental Science) preferred.
* 0-2 years of experience in a QHSE or related role, preferably in a construction or industrial environment.
* Basic understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and environmental principles.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
* Must possess a valid driver's license.
* Physical ability to perform duties that may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
