Torque And Test Technician:

This position is diverse, and job duties are likely to vary daily. Candidates may be required to work with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Candidates can expect to work in all types of inclement and/or extreme weather. While under direct supervision, candidates will perform oil field related services and tasks in accordance with 3 Forks Services, Safety, and Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) requirements. This includes wearing and using all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required by 3 Forks Services, OSHA, Customers, and any other local, state, or federal regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job has no supervisory duties.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and material specs.
  • Install, remove, and test Production and Drilling BOP’s
  • Install, remove, and test frac equipment.
  • Install, remove, and test wellhead equipment.
  • Troubleshoot leaks and problems with frac and well head equipment.
  • Install and retrieve Type H BPV and TWC.
  • Work safely in a potentially hazardous environment.
  • Must be proficient with hand and power tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 75lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-year previous oilfield experience
  • PEC - Safeland and/or OSHA 10 - Must have proof of training.
  • PEC - H2S Clear and/or H2S Awareness - Must have proof of training.
