An opportunity to practice as a Professional Trademark Attorney in a Law firm in Pune! StratJuris Partners is one of the fastest growing Intellectual Property Law firm in Western India. StratJuris Partners is looking for candidates who would like to excel in the field of Trademark Portfolio Management. The candidate(s) will be trained on the job in the field of Intellectual Property Law and will have an opportunity to learn 'How to manage Global Trademark Portfolios’. Excellent research skills, writing and academic credentials, and strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are required for this Position. Description of Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and file relevant documents in the prosecution of Trademark applications and maintenance of Trademark registrations. 2. Correspond directly with clients and foreign associates on routine prosecution and maintenance matters. 3. Draft detailed client and foreign associate communications for attorney review. 4. Assist docketing department in maintaining accurate trademark docketing records. 5. Conduct research on Indian and foreign trademark law as necessary. 6. Prepare and record ownership documents and licenses related to trademarks. Trademark Availability Search 7. Drafting Co-Existence Agreements & Drafting Cease and Desist Letters 8. Conduct due diligence on trademark portfolios. 9. Handle special projects as assigned. Experience: · Candidates should have 0-3 years in the field of Intellectual Property Law · Candidates who have worked with a Law firm (whether as an Associate or Intern) previously will be preferred. · Candidates who wish to return after a break/gap in their professional career are welcome Educational Qualification Required: LL.B or LL.M Professional Qualification: We prefer candidates who are registered as Advocates with Bar Council of India Location: We are looking for candidates who are based in Pune or are willing to relocate to Pune You can apply by clicking the Apply button on this page
