Trading Desk Associate
About this role
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile trades, transactions, and positions across Asia trading activity.
- Prepare and submit delivery instructions for proprietary trading.
- Maintain positions, P&L, and real-time desk information.
- Support operational processes to meet regulatory and exchange requirements.
- Use trading and desk tools under trader instruction, including algorithmic tools where applicable.
- Update and maintain trading systems, proprietary applications, and Excel tools.
- Liaise with traders, brokers, dealers/counterparties, clearing firms, and internal teams.
- Assist with execution support, recaps/reporting, and post-trade issue resolution.
- Contribute to automation and process-improvement projects, including testing and rollout support.
- Operate effectively on the trading floor and stay composed during time-sensitive situations.
