Job Description

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 1 year contract with potential to extend.
Work set up: Hybrid (3 days per week in Cape Town office).

Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking a highly organised Traffic Manager to serve as the central hub for workflow management and resource allocation within the creative team. This role ensures all creative requests are prioritised, assigned, and delivered efficiently with full visibility. What you will do:

• Act as the central point of contact for workflow management and resource allocation, ensuring requests are prioritised, assigned, and delivered on time.
• Manage the intake and review of creative briefs, ensuring clarity, alignment, and accurate assignment.
• Re-prioritise effectively when urgent requests arise, balancing business demands with creative team capacity.
• Allocate resources across projects, as well as ad hoc requests.
• Maintain clear visibility of team workloads, proactively balancing priorities to maximise efficiency.
• Partner with the Lead to support forecasting and resourcing strategies.
• Keep Workfront up to date by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring production commences on agreed dates.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on capacity, timelines, and potential risks.

Qualifications

• Mid-weight traffic management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects and reprioritize quickly under pressure.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally closer to 5 years.
• Background in creative agency environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Workfront is advantageous.
