Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Equipment Service Engineer Trainee to join our technical team. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of medical equipment. The trainee will work under the guidance of senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting and supporting healthcare devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in installation, calibration, and commissioning of Ophthalmic equipment at client sites
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Diagnose basic technical issues and escalate complex problems
  • Maintain service reports and documentation accurately
  • Provide basic user training to hospital staff when required
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Travel to client locations (hospitals/clinics) as needed
Required Qualifications:
    • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in: Biomedical Engineering
    • Electronics & Communication Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering or related field
    • Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience

Skills & Competencies:

  • Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and medical devices
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, documentation)
  • Ready to Relocate to anywhere in India

Preferred (Optional):

  • Internship or training in medical equipment servicing
  • Knowledge of diagnostic devices

Training & Growth:

  • On-the-job training with experienced engineers
  • Exposure to advanced medical technologies
  • Opportunity for full-time Service Engineer role after training

Compensation:

  • As per industry standards
