The Position

Training Management Expert

Introduction At Roche, we believe that every voice matters, and we invite you to bring your unique perspective to our team. The Training Management Expert (SE7) provides expert guidance on learning toward the Roche Digital Technology (RDT) organization. In this role, you will navigate organizational complexity to act as a consultant and be part of the operational team that resolves training management requests.

The Opportunity:

  • Provide Strategic Guidance: Provide expert direction on training management programs, learning initiatives, and complex organizational requests across RDT.

  • Drive GxP Compliance: Manage training topics in a compliance-driven (GxP) environment, overseeing assignment, tracking, and reporting of critical personnel requirements.

  • Administer Enterprise LMS: Lead LMS Administration (specifically Cornerstone) and oversee support requests via ticketing systems to ensure proactive issue resolution.

  • Solve Complex Challenges: Lead the analysis of complex training problems across organizational boundaries, eliciting stakeholder needs and influencing strategic decisions.

  • Lead Global Initiatives: Take full accountability for training management on significant global initiatives, defining solution scopes and driving consensus through persuasive facilitation.

  • Identify Opportunities & Risks: Proactively identify strategic learning opportunities and risks, applying expert problem-solving methodologies to optimize workflows.

  • Manage Complex Priorities: Apply strong organizational skills to manage complex initiatives, prioritizing tasks effectively based on urgency and stakeholder needs.

  • Mentor & Enable Teams: Act as a trusted consultant and mentor to colleagues, guiding teams on problem-solving techniques and building organizational capabilities.

Who you are:

  • Educated Professional: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experienced Learning Leader: You bring 7+ years of progressive experience in training management, learning consultancy, or HR operations, preferably within global project environments.

  • GxP Subject Matter Expert: You possess critical GxP domain knowledge, with a deep understanding of regulated training compliance, tracking, and auditing requirements.

  • LMS Technical Specialist: You bring hands-on experience in Learning Management Systems administration (specifically Cornerstone) and ticketing system operations.

  • Empathetic Communicator: You are highly customer-oriented, creative, and empathetic, featuring an open mindset, strong speak-up mentality, and fluent written and spoken English skills.

  • Master Negotiator & Facilitator: You possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills, capable of driving consensus and navigating complex conflicts.

  • Accountable Project Manager: You demonstrate proven reliability, dedication, and a commitment to taking full ownership of complex responsibilities under tight deadlines.
