Adept is looking for a personable, detail oriented, and “hands-on” IT deployment tech to join our growing team. The individual must be professional, flexible, organized, and eager to provide outstanding customer service. In this role you will be deploying, imaging and setting up equipment (desktops, laptops, docking stations, monitors, etc) around the Commonwealth of PA to ensure little to no downtime to end users. Technicians will rotate between both warehouse: verifying and inventorying equipment, loading/unloading trucks, performing needed services and customer locations: traveling state-wide to perform the deployment and removal of old equipment.

Responsibilities:

-Capable of driving a company truck to and from customer sites.

-Willing to travel and overnight Sunday-Friday as needed for projects.

-Communicate with customers while on site.

-Follow safety procedures while operating equipment and handling customer product in the warehouse.

-Maintain a positive attitude in both warehouse and customer sites.

-Load/unload truck at the warehouse and at customer sites

-Perform warehouse tasks such as inventory and verification of packages, disposal of boxes and packing material, etc.

-Familiarity with IT equipment including desktops, laptops, mobile workstations, monitors, and docks, including troubleshooting when needed.

-Executing services for IT deployment projects including: imaging, asset tagging, prepping for install, installation at customer site, removal of old equipment, and documentation.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

-Must be at least 18 years old

-Must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 100 pounds. Other physical requirements would include bending over, reaching overhead, crawling, squatting, and working in tight spaces

-Clear driving record and criminal background

-Be able to handle personable interactions with customers

-Inventory and warehousing experience a plus

Pay starting at $19 an hour with+ overnight travel bonus

Standard work week of 40 hours

2 weeks of PTO + paid major holidays

$50 per month cell phone reimbursement

Travel is required- hotels comped and drive time is paid

Clear criminal history REQUIRED – employment drug screen may be required.
