The Triage Care Advisor Medical Assistant supports Bronson Medical Group primary care and specialty practices through triaging calls and coordinating care as needed The Triage Care Advisor Medical Assistant serves in an expanded health care role to collaborate with the primary care practices, specialists, and other members of the health care team, and patients/families to ensure the delivery of quality, efficient, and cost-effective health care services. The Triage Care Advisor Medical Assistant follows evidence-based clinical guidelines, preventive guidelines, and protocols in care delivery to the patient. The Triage Care Advisor Medical Assistant coordinates care across acute and other ambulatory practice settings and helps patients/families understand heath care options.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
MUST MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
• Have two to five years of experience in a healthcare setting with adult and pediatric patients in primary care/ambulatory care, home health agency, skilled nursing facility, or hospital medical surgical setting required.
• Experience in ambulatory care is desirable experience as well as the acute care or post acute care setting.
