(USA) Warehouse (LOG) - Weekdays/2nd Shift

RAMC is hiring for a Patient Access Specialist to join us at our UW Health Outreach Clinic at the RAMC campus. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM

The Patient Access Specialist arranges for the efficient and orderly registration and scheduling of patients
at the UW Health Outreach Clinic. 

• Gathers and verifies patient information and accurately enters required data into the appropriate system.
  
• Performs clerical, reception, and registration duties while providing professional and courteous service to patients and visitors.

Education and Training Required: 

• High school graduate or equivalent.
  

Experience: 

• Experience working in a hospital or other medical environment is preferred.
  
  

Special knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Good organizational Skills
• Good Time Management
• Excellent hand-written and oral communication skills, grammar, punctuation, and style 
• Ability to work independently
• Resourceful; is aware of and utilizes the available resources 
• Basic Computer knowledge 

Physical Requirements:

• Continuously sits at a desk
• Frequently stands to perform tasks
• Occasionally push/pull with up to 50 pounds
