Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Validation Automation Platform Lead, based in Taipei/Taiwan, to drive the evolution of our validation automation ecosystem. In this individual contributor role, you will lead the development of scalable automation platforms, AI-powered validation solutions, and modern engineering practices that improve product quality, engineering productivity, and validation efficiency across Commercial Systems R&D.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the strategy, architecture, roadmap, and adoption of the validation automation platform.

  • Accelerate the transformation from traditional test automation to AI-enabled Validation Engineering.

  • Develop and deploy scalable automation solutions supporting system validation, integration testing, regression testing, failure reproduction, and debugging workflows.

  • Apply Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to improve test planning, execution optimization, failure analysis, root cause identification, and engineering productivity.

  • Establish engineering best practices, including source control, code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, and reusable frameworks.

  • Partner with Validation, Development, BIOS/Firmware, Driver, Hardware, and ODM teams to identify and deliver high-impact automation solutions.

  • Leverage automation metrics and quality insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Provide technical leadership, influence architecture decisions, and promote automation excellence across global engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, validation engineering, automation engineering, or platform engineering.

  • Experience designing and scaling automation platforms, engineering tools, or validation frameworks.

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation architecture.

  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional technical initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, AI-assisted development, and intelligent automation.

  • Experience in system validation, hardware/software integration testing, or embedded systems.

  • Knowledge of BIOS/Firmware, drivers, operating systems, PC platforms, and device validation.

  • Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and API integrations.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, engineering productivity metrics, and data-driven decision making.

  • Experience collaborating with ODM/OEM partners and global engineering teams.
