What you'll be doing:
Serve as the primary medical and scientific strategic lead supporting psychiatry-focused clinical study opportunities, including business development and proposal support, and bid defense meetings.
Act as the go to medical expert in psychiatry, providing expert medical and scientific input on clinical development programs for both internal teams and external customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute on study design, protocol development, and patient recruitment strategies.
Provide strategic medical and scientific input for psychiatry-related consulting projects.
Drive awareness of Premier's leadership in the psychiatry/neurology space by participating as a SME in marketing activities and scientific engagement opportunities.
What we are searching for:
An MD with a board certification in psychiatry and at least 3-5 years of clinical practice experience.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years in clinical development, preferably within a sponsor organization.
Expert-level knowledge of psychiatry (see above) drug development (device experience is a plus) and GCP regulations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
A strategic mindset with strong business acumen and a commitment to upholding industry ethics and scientific standards.
Ability to travel up to 50%
