Premier Research is looking for a Vice President, Medical Affairs (Psychiatry) to join our Medical Affairs team.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Serve as the primary medical and scientific strategic lead supporting psychiatry-focused clinical study opportunities, including business development and proposal support, and bid defense meetings.

  • Act as the go to medical expert in psychiatry, providing expert medical and scientific input on clinical development programs for both internal teams and external customers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute on study design, protocol development, and patient recruitment strategies.

  • Provide strategic medical and scientific input for psychiatry-related consulting projects.

  • Drive awareness of Premier's leadership in the psychiatry/neurology space by participating as a SME in marketing activities and scientific engagement opportunities.

What we are searching for:

  • An MD with a board certification in psychiatry and at least 3-5 years of clinical practice experience.

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years in clinical development, preferably within a sponsor organization.

  • Expert-level knowledge of psychiatry (see above) drug development (device experience is a plus) and GCP regulations.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

  • A strategic mindset with strong business acumen and a commitment to upholding industry ethics and scientific standards.  

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
