ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Video Editor that specializes in creating and editing videos for e-commerce brands. You’ll be working with a modern e-commerce brand to create visually-stunning, eye-catching, and high-quality content that captures attention and increases engagement. You’ll need to have exceptional video editing and design skills with full English fluency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit videos to create high-quality and effective content (social media ads, VSLs, reels, animations, etc.) for various channels/platforms such as social media (Instagram, YouTube), landing pages, websites, and more
- Edit raw footage, add special effects, transitions, and sound design to create engaging content
- Take full ownership of video editing projects, from conceptualization to visual execution
- Maintain and ensure consistent branding across all materials and platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and execute on video concepts that align with the brand’s business and marketing goals
- Perform ad hoc administrative, business operations, and special project tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 4+ years of experience as a video editor for an e-commerce brand
- Full proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
- Ability to create both short- and long-form video content for digital audiences
- Excellent eye for visual aesthetics and current social media trends
- Professional fluency in English with top-tier written, reading, and speaking skills
- Permanent access to a computer with reliable and high-speed Internet connection
- Ability to work in US time zone, Monday to Friday (8 hours per day)
- Previous experience working the overnight/graveyard shift
