We are looking for a Virtual Manufacturing Engineer for a global company in Gothenburg.
Start is in Sep 2026, 10-months limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that.
Commodity Battery Cell Prep & Assy is a section within Manufacturing Engineering. We develop and implement quality‑assured, flexible, and effective production systems across our battery plants, focusing on the Cell‑to‑Pack (CtP) battery architecture. The section is working cross functionally & project oriented, supporting all Production Plants and car programs globally. Within the group Battery Cell Prep & Assy, we are now looking for a new member working as a Virtual Manufacturing Engineer.
As a Virtual Manufacturing Engineer you will be a part of a Commodity Manufacturing engineering team and you will contribute to prepare and implement products and manufacturing processes globally, both manual and automated. You will virtually ensure product and process solutions cross functional within the Manufacturing Engineering organization, with our Production facilities and with Engineering (R&D). This is done to fulfil the manufacturing attributes and key performances, such as quality, line balancing, cost efficiency, environment, flexibility, and change over.
Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in process design for body shop or battery shop (cell to pack)
Experience in product design for manufacturing (DFA/DFM)
Skilled in Siemens Teamcenter and Process Simulate
Experience in Robot offline programming beneficial
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Technical education at university level or equivalent experience.
Personal qualities:
Structured way of working, and good documentation skills.
Positive attitude.
Self-driven, result oriented and flexible.
This is a full-time consultant position in Gothenburg through Incluso. Start is in in Sep 2026, 10 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.
