Designation: VoIP QA Engineer
Experience Required: 4 to 6 years
Responsibility -
- Proficient knowledge in telephony infrastructure and design, including PBX, VoIP and SIP trunking, IVR, SBC, Media Gateways
- Clear concept of Manual Testing of VoIP, Web, Mobile App Testing and API Testing
- Expertise in creating test plans for system level, subsystem level, and feature level testing.
- Proficient in writing test scenarios and test cases for comprehensive software testing, including both positive and negative cases.
- Additionally, the candidates should have exposure to AI-driven testing approaches, such as using AI tools for test case generation, call flow analysis, automation assistance in VoIP system.
- Documentation skills, good interpersonal skills, Self Driven
- Ownership of end-end delivery of assigned responsibilities.
- Established knowledge of the practices and principles of telecommunication systems analysis, planning, design, and problem resolution.
- Experience in use of Softphones and IP Phones or any SIP traffic generating tool like SIPp tool
- Experience with Bug reporting in Agile framework using any bug tracking tools.
- Proven troubleshooting skills utilizing protocol Analyzer applications such as WireShark, Fiddler, etc.
- Having experience in mobile app testing, UC Testing and Mobile VoIP dialer testing
Skills Required (Primary)
- Hands-on experience with SIP protocol and network-level troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in testing and validating PBX system features.
- Hands-on Scripting Experience in Shell
- Basic Knowledge of RESTFUL Web Service & HTTP protocol.
- Knowledge of fs_cli for how to check FreeSwitch logs or Asterisk logs
- Hands-on experience with Linux and networking fundamentals for troubleshooting and issue analysis.
- Good organizational and problem understanding skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Skills Required (Secondary)
- Must have capacity to work independently and also as a part of team.
- Able to express & work fluently with least handholding.
- Knowledge Of UI test tools for Desktop applications like Selenium, Cypress, Playwrite etc.
