As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Warehouse Assistant (Casual) to join our team. In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting the delivery of laboratory automation products that help advance healthcare and positively impact communities worldwide.  

  

      

What you’ll do:  

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming goods and materials.  
  • Pick, pack, label, and dispatch customer orders and internal shipments.  
  • Prepare shipments for domestic and international transport.  
  • Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.  
  • Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse locations are maintained.  
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with periodic stocktakes.  
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report stock discrepancies.  
  • Support urgent or priority customer shipments.  
  • Identify and report damaged, defective, or non-conforming materials.  
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.  
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.  
  • Work collaboratively with Warehouse, Logistics, Production, and Customer Service teams.  
  • Assist with general warehouse and logistics tasks as required.  

  

  

Success in this role includes:  

  • Ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.   
  • Maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy.   
  • Supporting efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations.   
  • Building positive relationships with internal teams and logistics providers.   
  • Contributing to a safe, compliant, and well-organized warehouse.  

  

 What you’ll bring:  

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or distribution environment.  
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately pick, pack, and process orders.  
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.  
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience using inventory management or ERP systems.  
  • Experience using Oracle ERP or similar enterprise systems would be desirable.  
  • Understanding of inventory control, stock management, and warehouse best practices.  
  • Forklift Licence (LF) is desirable, or willingness to obtain one with company support.  
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.  
  • Positive, customer-focused attitude with a strong commitment to service.  
  • Reliable, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.  
  • Adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn new skills and processes.  
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritise tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines.  
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and organised workplace.
