Today's market requirements pose major challenges for tomorrow's engineering. The development of complex products must be made more efficient and flexible at the same time. Teams must work together in a decentralized and interdisciplinary manner in order to implement new business models through product innovations at short notice. In this context, we advise our customers in the following areas to establish the necessary changes in terms of technology, methodology, and culture:
· Engineering transformation (strategy, processes, methods, and change management)
· Strategy & transformation for product lifecycle management (PLM/PDM) and digital continuity topics, including digital twin
· Software & systems engineering
· Design, simulation, verification
· Cross-functional engineering collaboration across R&D, manufacturing, sales and procurement
· Cost efficiency and cost reduction initiatives across engineering and R&D processes
· 6+ years of practical project experience in engineering, particularly in the automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, energy utility, or life sciences industries
· Experience in (partial) project management of complex transformation projects in an engineering environment
· Degree in engineering, IT, natural sciences or a related field
· Comprehensive knowledge of product development and its core processes
· Experience in strategy and organizational development in the field of engineering
· (Consulting) experience in the design, optimization, and implementation of processes in product development
· Capability to identify and drive measurable cost reduction across the product lifecycle
· Knowledge of engineering IT and virtual product development
· Knowledge of relevant topics in the field of product lifecycle management (PLM)
· Enjoyment of combining technological understanding, strategic analysis, and the talent to think conceptually and implementation-oriented
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Excellent English and solid German skills
