Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Material Handler to support the safe and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility. In this role, you will receive incoming shipments, organize inventory, pull orders and operate material handling equipment to help keep production moving.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Unload and stage incoming shipments using material handling equipment.
• Prepare and break down incoming shipments and verify them for accuracy.
• Put products away in the correct inventory locations.
• Accurately pull orders using paper or electronic order information.
• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to move products to designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including sweeping, mopping and emptying trash.
• Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment and completing job duties.

Your Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

You Must Have:

• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to use a computer system to track inventory.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals.
• Ability and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow all safety procedures.

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• Experience working in a production or warehouse environment.
• The anticipated hourly range for this position is $X-X. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
