The Business Controlling team plays a key role in driving project success by acting as a trusted financial partner to Project Managers and cross-functional teams. As a Project Controller, you will operate as a “mini CFO,” ensuring financial transparency, identifying risks, and supporting informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. What you can look forward to as Project Controller Air Supply (m/f/d):
- Drive project team towards committed financial targets, anticipate & identify potential FCM, GMP, M-ROCE drops in an early stage, and support initiatives in case of cost gaps;
- Critical check of commercial customer & supplier contracts (volume & productivity clauses, FX & Raw material clauses, etc.);
- Ensure that responsibilities and ownership of project financials are clearly defined in the project team;
- Evaluate proactively the economic health of projects in the creation phase and until the start of production;
- Ensure the project team selects the most economic solutions, ensure that project approval is based on accurate economic projections;
- Identify risks early, support project team in identifying, implementing, and tracking mitigation activities;
- Drive decision-making by asking the right questions, driving escalation via product line or via Finance function if necessary;
- Ensure accurate tracking of change requests (costing/pricing) within the project (change of requirements) & Push for maximum customer reimbursements by ensuring that invoicing is triggered when milestones are achieved.
Your Profile as Project Controller Air Supply (m/f/d):
- Higher education;
- Experience: minimum 2 years in accounting/reporting/controlling, familiar with IFRS, at least two out of key Controlling areas (M&L, Material, R&D, Sales, Quality Cost);
- Escalate early in case of deviations whilst maintaining a good relationship with team members based on mutual respect;
- Open source mentality to exchange know-how within BB & PjC team;
- Very good knowledge of Excel;
- Fluent English, German will be a plus;
- Be authentic - To be quirky is an asset;
- Managerial Courage & not shy - ask questions when others won’t and curious - constantly exploring.
