Now, we’re looking for a Yard Technician to join our Jeffersonville, Indian location and help keep our equipment in top shape.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on rental equipment, including cleaning, servicing, and ensuring safety features are operational.
- Prepare equipment for rental, conducting pre-rental inspections and assisting customers with safe loading and unloading.
- Maintain an organized yard, ensuring equipment is stored properly and easily accessible.
- Assist with inventory management, including routine checks to track equipment condition and placement.
- Report any equipment damage or malfunctions for servicing.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts to move large equipment (training provided if needed).
- Follow all safety procedures to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting with equipment operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable and hardworking with a strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in equipment maintenance, construction, or a related field is a plus, but we will train the right person.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active, outdoor environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Safety-conscious with a willingness to follow strict safety procedures.
- Valid driver’s license required.
