2027 BNY Analyst Program – Risk and Compliance

Risk & Compliance is responsible for establishing the framework, policies, guidance, and tools that support risk and compliance management across BNY. Led by the Chief Risk Officer, the function provides independent oversight, monitoring, and challenge of risk decisions and activities throughout the risk management lifecycle. Analysts gain hands-on experience working with global teams across key areas such as credit, market, liquidity, technology, operational, compliance, model, and enterprise risk, while building an understanding of how strong governance and consistent standards support the firm.

• • Support risk and compliance activities by helping teams apply frameworks, policies, and oversight practices across the firm.

• • Analyze information, identify trends, and assess how risks are being managed across businesses, processes, and functions.

• • Assist with reviews, reporting, and documentation that support governance, monitoring, and compliance efforts.

• • Gain exposure to key risk areas such as credit, market, liquidity, operational, technology, compliance, model, and enterprise risk.

Analyst Program  
Our 24-month rotational Analyst Program is designed to set you up for success from day one. Program eligibility: 

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred 

• Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.)  

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better    

• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.    

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $80,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team.
