The Role  

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a talented individual to join the internship program at Schonfeld. You’ll spend ten weeks with Schonfeld’s Business Analytics team where you will be immersed in our culture, working alongside talented professionals contributing to high profile projects as a Data Analyst. 

What You’ll Do  

The Business Analytics team at Schonfeld focuses on the discovery, interpretation, and communication of meaningful patterns in data to drive better decision making and problem solving. The team is responsible for data acquisition and processing using technology to solve business problems from stakeholders across the business such as risk, trading, accounting, operations, and business development.  

In this role, you’ll gain exposure to using tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI to transform and analyze data in a real-world environment under the mentorship of members of the team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to solve problems and create a positive impact on the team by improving data quality, streamlining manual processes, building reports, proposing analytics, and supporting our reporting infrastructure.

The annual base pay for this role is expected to be between $100,000 and $115,000 which will be prorated based on internship start and end date. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications and experience and level of education.
