Northrop Grumman is seeking a Facilities Engineering Intern to join the Aeronautics Sector Intern Program. This position will be in Clearfield, Utah.

In this internship, the qualified candidate will have the opportunity to support the Engineering, Project Management and Construction Engineering teams. The Engineering team is responsible for creating drawings, specifications, and equipment estimates as well as supporting Maintenance and Project Management teams. Project Management includes the procurement and installation of large capital equipment to support aerospace programs. Construction Engineering is responsible for overseeing the design/construction of new building needs as well as modifications to existing sites. Tasks will be varied based on need. 
 

Basic Qualifications

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027. 

  • Be majoring or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree

  • Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.

  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Intern Pay Range:

  • Undergraduate degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program) $18.50 to $33.50 per hour

  • Master’s: $26.25 to $41.50 per hour
