Our Summer Analyst Programme is aimed at penultimate year students and is designed to provide a unique insight into global world of finance.  Summer Analysts will work as part of a dynamic trading team which specialise in sophisticated structured products, delivering tailored solution to MUFG clients.

What to Expect

Our 10-week Summer Analyst programme is designed to provide you with a unique insight into investment banking. Starting off with a week of technical training, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our products and markets. Then armed with this knowledge, you will have the opportunity to join our Structured Trading Group Team:

• Gain exposure to structured derivatives trading, market making, and risk management across interest rates, FX, and cross-asset products.
• Support the pricing of derivatives and analysis of market trends and trading opportunities.
• Assist with portfolio risk analysis and trade lifecycle management.
• Contribute to the development of trading tools and desk analytics.
• Research trade ideas and prepare materials for internal and client discussions.

As part of a select intake, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry and will be allocated a buddy to ensure you have all the support you need to make the most of your Analyst experience.

Our Summer Analyst Programme serves as a pipeline into the full-time MUFG Analyst Programme, and successful interns may receive an offer to join the full-time Analyst Programme the following year.
