Pensions Consulting

Join our Pensions Consulting team in Croydon and help pension scheme trustees and employers run their schemes effectively. You will support clients with governance, meetings, communications, budgets and changes that affect their schemes and members.

You will work with colleagues and clients from the start, building your knowledge of pension schemes while developing strong consulting, organisation and communication skills. You will be employed on a permanent basis, and your responsibilities will grow as your skills and confidence develop.

What does the role entail?

Previous pensions or consulting experience is not required.

Training and development

You will receive structured learning, practical experience and support from your team.

You will develop technical, business and professional skills through on-the-job learning, formal training and hands-on client work.

  • Support from a Performance Manager with your development and progress

  • Support will be provided to work towards and achieve qualifications with the Pensions Management Institute (PMI)

Length of programme

You will be employed on a permanent basis from the start of your graduate role.

Location and working pattern

This role is based in our Croydon office.

Expected office attendance, including the first few months is four days per week minimum in office and then two/three days a week in the office moving forwards.

The working pattern will reflect client, team and learning needs. Reasonable adjustments will be considered where appropriate.

Recruitment process

The recruitment process will include;

  • completing an online application form where we will establish your eligibility for this role

  • online motivation and competency questions requiring video and/or written responses

  • a further review of your application assessing your potential to be successful in this role

  • an interview, in-person, with Managers in this role in the office you have applied to be based in

We will explain what to expect before each stage. The process will assess your motivation, numerical and problem-solving skills, communication, teamwork and approach to learning. It will not assume previous pensions knowledge.
