This Summer internship is a 12 week program that will take place in-person at our factory in Jefferson City, MO.

Internships are:

• 12-week learning journey 

• Full-time, paid summer position

What we are looking for:

• 12-week learning journey 

• A student motivated to provide support and assistance to approximately 1000 manufacturing employees working on 3 different shift

• Interest in gaining hands-on HR experience with a focus in the recruiting life-cycle of hourly production hiring

• Data driven individual with excellent excel capabilities to collect and analyze data

• Driven to learn and understand various open jobs to create job flyers and on-the job videos to support in the recruitment and hiring process

• Continuous Improvement mindset with the ability to pivot and improves processes

• Ability to problem solve and ensure follow up and resolution for employee issues

Your Background:

• Obtaining a bachelor’s or `master’s degree in Business Administration (Human Resources, Communications, Psychology)

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

• Ability to work across cultures.

• Good conceptual and analytical thinking

• Effective working within a team.

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
