• Prepare food for a high-volume hotel kitchen which includes banquet and conference facilities, full service restaurant and lounge, room service and government emergency services contracts.
• Primarily responsibility for food preparation and line service
• Reports to Executive Chef, Sous Chef.
• Full time

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

• Supporting the Chef to deliver on defined day to day activities for our client contract regarding all Food Service Delivery in a Hotel kitchen.
• You will use your skills to assist in creating an excellent food service offering for the clients and guests of this site
• General food production, cooking, serving as well as other duties assigned
• Follow all the different Sodexo Programs: Food Safety, Health and Safety, policies and procedures, as well as marketing.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role (high-volume banquet and catering experience is an asset).
• Red Seal is an asset
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience working as part of a team
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
• Ensure health and safety procedures are being followed
