Position Overview
Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is a network of high-performing K–8 public charter schools committed to academic excellence, college readiness, and equitable access to high-quality education for students in historically underserved communities.
AMS is seeking a passionate, data-driven 3rd grade Math and Science Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and build strong foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.
AMS teachers are collaborative professionals who believe that all scholars can achieve at high levels through structured instruction, strong classroom culture, and consistent data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Student Achievement

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or relevant content area)
OR - Valid Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area
OR - Minimum of three (3) years of K–12 teaching experience
Additionally, candidates must:
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
