About this role

About Manna

At Manna, we’re changing how the world receives things — by taking delivery to the skies.

Our mission is simple but ambitious: to make high-speed delivery affordable, green, and safe. We design and build our own aviation-grade drones that deliver food, coffee, groceries, and more directly from local stores and vendors to people’s doors in just a few minutes.

We’re a team that Drives with Impact, is Safety Focused, and knows that the best ideas come from Team Players who show up as their Authentic Selves. We move fast, we are passionate about what we do, and we’re always pushing a growth mindset to be better in everything we do.

As we expand our operations in the United States, we’re looking for a hands-on Field Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Welcome to Manna — where we deliver the future.

Role Purpose

This is an opportunity for an FAA A&P-certified technician to take their aviation maintenance experience into one of the fastest-growing areas of aviation.

You’ll be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting and routine and non-routine maintenance across our aircraft fleet and supporting systems in Tulsa.

As the first line of technical support on-site, you’ll play an important part in keeping our operation safe, reliable and ready to fly. When technical issues arise, you’ll diagnose the problem, determine the appropriate solution and work with our Engineering, Flight Operations, Quality and other technical teams to get us safely back in the air.

You don’t need previous drone experience. We’re looking for someone with strong aviation maintenance fundamentals who is interested in applying those skills to new aircraft technology.

A current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate is required for this role.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Providing hands-on aircraft maintenance and technical support for Manna’s Tulsa operations.
  • Acting as first-line technical support during live flight operations.
  • Carrying out routine and non-routine inspections, maintenance, servicing and repairs in line with approved procedures and safety standards.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical and aircraft system issues.
  • Repairing or replacing aircraft components, assemblies and support equipment as required.
  • Testing aircraft and systems following maintenance or repair work and supporting their safe return to service.
  • Ensuring aircraft and related systems are safe, serviceable and available for operations.
  • Completing clear and accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and technical documentation.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Flight Operations, Quality, Manufacturing and other technical teams to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Identifying recurring faults or maintenance issues and sharing feedback and recommendations to improve aircraft reliability and maintenance processes.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, parts and the maintenance environment to a high safety and organisational standard.
  • Transporting aircraft, equipment, parts or tools between Manna sites, vendors or operational locations when required.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with site visits forming part of the role. The position involves hands-on maintenance work in an operational aviation environment. The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may include standing for extended periods, using tools and test equipment, working around aircraft and support systems, and lifting or moving aircraft components and equipment.

Manna is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical ability.
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic capability.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow technical documentation, maintenance instructions, work orders, checklists, and safety procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Clear communicator who stands by decisions, takes ownership, and escalates issues appropriately.
  • Confident working cross-functionally with technical and operational teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when documenting maintenance activity and safety-critical work.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally or regionally when required.
  • Flexible and adaptable — operations don’t stand still.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with unmanned aircraft systems, drones, robotics, electric aircraft, or advanced aviation systems.
  • Experience with avionics, propulsion systems, batteries, wiring, sensors, telemetry, or communications systems.
  • Experience in a high-tempo aviation, manufacturing, MRO, field operations, or technology environment.
