Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. The role handles accounting transactions, reconciliations, payables and receivables, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
  • Verify invoices, bills, receipts, payment requests, and supporting documents.

  • Coordinate with Finance, Purchasing, Stores, Sales, Operations, and other departments regarding financial matters.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial, employee, customer, and company information.
  • Support the Finance Manager/Chief Accountant with financial analysis and ad-hoc reports.
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.

Qualifications
