Role Summary

  1. We are seeking an experienced Consolidation Accountant to join the Group Finance team at our Singapore Group HQ.
  2. This role is responsible for full-set accounting close and multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction consolidation across our group of 16+ operating entities spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Germany, Australia, the Philippines, Malaysia, the US, and the UK.
  3. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing full-set closing and consolidating financials across diverse currencies, accounting standards, and time zones, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities
Full-Set Accounting & Month-End Close

  • Perform full-set accounting close (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for assigned entities within the group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.\
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure intercompany transactions are properly recorded, matched, and eliminated.

Group Consolidation

  • Support the Group Consolidation Lead in preparing consolidated financial statements across 16+ entities in multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
  • Perform currency translation and consolidation adjustments (elimination entries, minority interest, goodwill, etc.) in line with group accounting policies.
  • Maintain and enhance consolidation templates/workbooks and ERP-based consolidation processes (NetSuite).
  • Identify and resolve intercompany mismatches, reconciliation discrepancies, and consolidation variances across entities.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare consolidated management reporting packages, including YoY / budget variance analysis, for CFO and senior leadership review.
  • Support statutory audit and group audit requirements across jurisdictions, liaising with local finance teams and external auditors.
  • Assist with technical accounting research (IFRS/local GAAP differences) relevant to consolidation adjustments.

Process & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with local finance teams (SG, HK, China, Germany, Australia, Philippines, Malaysia, US, UK) to ensure consistent, timely submission of financial
    data for consolidation.
  • Support continuous improvement of the group’s consolidation process, close timetable, and reporting templates as the group scales.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, including corporate restructuring, entity onboarding, and system/process enhancements.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.
  2. Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience, including hands-on full-set accounting close and group consolidation across multiple entities/jurisdictions.
  3. Prior experience in a multinational group with regional/global consolidation exposure strongly preferred (e.g., APAC + Europe / US entities).
  4. Solid understanding of consolidation principles: intercompany eliminations, currency translation, minority interest, and consolidation adjustments.
  5. Working knowledge of IFRS and exposure to local GAAP variances across jurisdictions is an advantage.
  6. Proficient in ERP systems, NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
