Your new company
Hays are delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in the recruitment of an Accounts Analyst to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to further develop their accounting and analytical skills within a supportive and collaborative environment. The hours of work are Monday–Friday 9am–5pm and the business operates a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, whilst offering exposure to a broad range of accounting and reporting activities. The offices are based in Port Glasgow and can be accessed by public transport & there is also on-site parking.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting month-end processes and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Working closely with colleagues across the wider finance function, your responsibilities will include:

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within a finance, accounting or analytical role and be keen to further develop your accounting knowledge and technical skills. This role may also suit an Accountancy graduate.
