Accountant | Jewellery Industry Location: Near Surat Railway Station, Surat Industry: Jewellery Salary: 20k-25k per month Experience: 1.5+ years Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Accountant to independently manage day-to-day accounting and jewellery inventory/stock management for a client in the jewellery industry. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, good attention to detail, and preferably prior experience in jewellery, retail, or inventory-based businesses. The role will involve handling accounting operations, stock records, reconciliations, GST, TDS, and coordination with the client and our internal team. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping Maintain and monitor jewellery inventory and stock records Handle stock inward and outward entries Perform regular stock reconciliation and identify discrepancies Manage GST and TDS-related accounting and compliance Conduct bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Coordinate with the client and internal accounting team Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities Independently manage the client's accounts and inventory under overall supervision and guidance from our team Requirements Proven experience as an Accountant Strong knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and ledger reconciliation Experience in inventory and stock management Candidates with jewellery industry or retail accounting experience will be preferred Ability to independently handle accounting and inventory responsibilities Good attention to detail and accuracy Strong coordination and communication skills Ability to work responsibly with minimal day-to-day supervision Ideal Candidate An experienced and responsible accountant who can independently manage client accounting and jewellery inventory operations, while working under the overall supervision of our accounting team.
