An independent firm of chartered accountants in Brighton is looking for an Accounts Manager. This one is about ownership. Your own portfolio, your own review, your own client relationships, and a direct line to the directors.
The firm has been going a very long time and has the client base to show for it. Low turnover, stable team, no restructure looming. What they need is someone to take proper weight off the directors and run the accounts side day to day.
The role
- Managing a portfolio of owner-managed clients from planning to sign-off
- Reviewing accounts, corporation tax and VAT prepared by the team
- Meeting clients to talk through results, tax and planning points

- Developing the trainees and seniors below you
