An Associate Director or Senior Manager to join the Actuarial team within FS Advisory. This team provides advice on a wide range of issues, including assurance services, external and internal audit, corporate governance and risk advisory, regulatory advisory including section 166 skilled person work and portfolio transfers, actuarial loss-reserving and pricing, taxation, solvency and regulatory compliance, management information systems, litigation support and forensic accounting. You'll project manage and develop existing team in offering a range of actuarial services and tools to a portfolio of clients within the insurance industry. This is expected to primarily include reserving and Solvency II work but is likely to also cover risk management, IFRS 17, pricing and data science.   

You'll be someone with

  • An Actuarial qualification, ideally Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, with significant post-qualification experience for Senior Manager.

  • Strong technical actuarial knowledge.

  • Open minded and critical thinker.
