Roster: Monday to Friday 
Type: Permanent 

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and organised Administration Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of administrative functions across our haulage, mining and workshop functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to grow and develop within a dynamic and supportive work environment.

  • Time Sheet Management – responsible for accurately completing timesheets to ensure timely processing of employee payroll.
  • Mex Workorders – Handling work orders, purchase orders and bookings for the maintenance and repair of equipment. This involves liaising closely with the service providers to ensure accurate scheduling, timely completion of works and accurate billing.
  • Contractor Management – corresponding with preferred contracting companies to fulfil various requirements such as site access, accommodation, meals, flights and purchase order requirements.
  • New starter relocation assistance – work closely with management and real estate agents in relation to the relocation of new employees.
  • Management of Alcolizer Equipment – Responsible for managing the wall mounted breathalyser ensuring they undergo calibration as required every (6-12 months) and maintaining accurate records for calibration services.
  • Accurately record and track safety related data to support compliance efforts and ongoing safety initiatives including compiling monthly toolbox meeting minutes and adding to the action register, entering lead indicators into the safety system.
  • Provide general administration support to the management team
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities for new team members 

Qualifications

  • Previous administration experience preferably in the logistic or transport industry
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel, Work and Outlook
  • Familiar with using multiple ERP systems.
  • Previous experience working in an evolving and fast paced environment would be advantageous
