  • Provide general administrative support, including correspondence, reports and word processing.
  • Take and distribute minutes and help coordinate staff and service meetings.
  • Support the administration involved when residents join or leave the service, ensuring relevant documentation is completed.
  • Order office, cleaning and first-aid supplies while ensuring value for money.
  • Handle confidential information appropriately and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:

  • At least 12 months' administrative and/or secretarial experience.
  • Experience of maintaining and reviewing office systems and procedures.
  • Experience of completing financial records or returns.
  • Experience of attending meetings and producing accurate minutes.
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office.
  • Strong keyboard and general administrative skills.
  • Good numeracy skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise your own workload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people.
  • Reception experience and an understanding of welfare benefits systems would be advantageous.
