  • Process Acts of Court by copying, signing off, diarising, and filing.
  • Handle telephone calls, take notes for client files, and draft emails and letters.
  • Conduct initial appointments with clients to undertake due diligence.
  • Support with scanning, photocopying, filing, and updating disclosure files.
  • Prepare court bundles and conduct financial assessments for legal-aid clients.
  • Exercise high standards of client care and maintain confidentiality of all client documentation and information.
  • Achieve billing and time recording targets and ensure compliance with accounting requirements.
  • Liaise with credit control regarding client matters as needed.

This role involves providing timely and accurate administrative and secretarial support to Partners, fee earners, and colleagues within the department. The Administrator in Dispute Resolution will be responsible for undertaking additional tasks as required to aid the department. The position offers a varied workload that includes managing diaries, preparing documentation, and interacting with clients. Key duties include updating court lists, processing client inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality regarding client information.
