  • Calibrates machines to their proper operating levels.
  • Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
  • Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
  • Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production.
  • Inspecting work to ensure that technical and quality standards are met
  • Working alongside Manufacturing Engineers to complete Part21 & Part 145.
  • Ensuring traceability and compliance is maintained throughout the process.
  • Supporting engineering/quality investigations and project work as and when required.

Job Description Summary

As an Advance Machine Operator & Setter within the aerospace industry, you will be responsible for carrying repairs/tasks to a variety of parts on CNC equipment ensuring parts adhere to the specification laid out within the business procedures, manuals & drawings. The role will also encourage using and implementing lean principles to help streamline the process where possible.
