The Salvation Army Youth Services provide crisis accommodation, holistic case management, and early‑intervention support that empowers young people to move toward independence with confidence and hope. 

About the role 

As an After-Hours Youth Support Worker (Evening), you will provide compassionate and consistent support to young people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness within a crisis accommodation setting. Working closely with the case management team, you will help implement individual support plans, promote safety and wellbeing, and foster a positive, therapeutic environment that empowers young people to achieve their goals. Through your engagement and support, you will play a vital role in helping young people build stability, resilience and confidence for the future.

Reporting to the Client Services Coordinator, this is a permanent part‑time position, (26 hours per week), based on site in Shepparton, Victoria. 

Conditions  

Compensation is in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 3.

What you will bring
