Position: AI Architect

Location: CABA, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Candidate must be within local travel distance to Buenos Aires, Argentina. The role will begin as remote until we find a co-working space in CABA, Buenos Aires.

Job Summary:

The AI Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing the organization's Artificial Intelligence strategy, architecture, platforms, and solutions. This role bridges business objectives with advanced AI capabilities, ensuring that AI initiatives are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

The AI Architect leads the design of Generative AI, Machine Learning, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and data-driven solutions across the enterprise. The role collaborates with business stakeholders, data engineers, software developers, security teams, and cloud architects to deliver AI-powered business outcomes while maintaining governance, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Strategy & Architecture

• Define enterprise AI architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.

• Develop AI technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

• Establish enterprise-wide AI governance and operating models.

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

• Design scalable AI platforms supporting multiple business use cases.

Solution Architecture

Design end-to-end AI solutions including:

• Generative AI

• Large Language Models (LLMs)

• AI Agents

• Machine Learning

• Predictive Analytics

• Intelligent Automation

• Translate business requirements into technical AI solution architectures.

Develop architecture blueprints covering:

• Data

• Security

• Integration

• Model lifecycle management

• Deployment patterns

AI Platform & Cloud Architecture:

• Architect AI solutions across cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS

• Define AI infrastructure requirements including model hosting, vector databases and data pipeline

• Ensure high availability, scalability, reliability, and performance.

Generative AI & Agentic AI

• Design enterprise GenAI solutions using:

  • Azure OpenAI

  • AWS Bedrock

  • Anthropic Claude

  • OpenAI

  • Gemini

• Define Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.

• Architect multi-agent systems and AI orchestration frameworks.

• Establish prompt engineering, evaluation, and model governance standards.

Data & Integration Architecture

• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to ensure AI-ready data ecosystems.

• Define integration strategies with: ERP systems, CRM platforms, Data warehouses, APIs, Enterprise applications

• Design data pipelines and feature engineering frameworks.

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Establish AI governance frameworks and policies.

• Ensure compliance with:

  • Data privacy regulations

  • Security standards

  • Responsible AI principles

  • Internal governance requirements

• Lead AI risk assessments and model validation initiatives.

Delivery Leadership

• Provide architectural leadership throughout project lifecycles.

• Conduct architecture reviews and design approvals.

• Mentor AI engineers, data scientists, and solution architects.

• Collaborate with vendors and technology partners.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as trusted advisor to executive leadership.

• Present AI strategies and business cases to senior stakeholders.

• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Drive enterprise AI adoption and change management initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

• Master's degree preferred.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology architecture.

• 5+ years designing and implementing AI/ML solutions.

• Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.

• Experience delivering cloud-native solutions in Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
