AI ML Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to build, deploy, and operate scalable AI applications and production infrastructure. Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and platform engineers to automate ML workflows and support high-performing models. In this role, your key goals will be to streamline ML training/deployment pipelines and strengthen on-prem cloud-native infrastructure to support our company mission.

What You Will Do

• Develop, deploy, and operate scalable Machine Learning solutions and production AI infrastructure.
• Automate training and deployment workflows to optimize operational efficiency.
• Design production-grade Python code utilizing FastAPI, async, and containerized architectures.
• Manage containerized application deployments on Linux environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build end-to-end RAG pipelines, including chunking, embedding, retrieval, and reranking processes.
• Implement LLM serving frameworks (vLLM, Ollama) and integrate vector databases like Qdrant.
• Collaborate with cross-functional software, data science, and platform teams on shared technical initiatives.
• Utilize orchestration tools like Kubeflow and Kuberay to manage complex workflows.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, AI, or Software Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, async) and solid understanding of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (deployments, pods, jobs), and Git version control.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities within a collaborative engineering environment.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, Next.js/TypeScript frontend tools, or orchestration engines (preferred).
